NEW COMIC ADDED! Get ready for Sammy Obeid!

Sammy Obeid is currently a host of Netflix’s “100 humans” and a prolific writer, actor, and comedian. Sammy is a Lebanese-Palestinian-Syrian-Italian-American, born in Oakland, California, best known for his 1,001 day streak of consecutive comedy performances. The streak began on December 26th, 2010, and concluded on September 21st, 2013– four days after an appearance on TBS’s Conan, breaking the old world record on Day 731. Over the course of the streak, he appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and advanced to the Las Vegas round, and became the first comedian to perform on The Food Network in Throwdown with Bobby Flay. LA Weekly praised Sammy’s “sheer force of will” in performance and lifestyle, and LA Mag recommended his show highly. He was profiled in TIME Magazine, followed soon after by an article in the New York Times. Published on his final day, it describes his material as “full of wordplay” and “clever misdirection.” Sammy has performed all over the country including 200+ colleges, countless comedy clubs, and every other kind of venue imaginable. We are excited to welcome Ellis Rodriguez! Ellis Rodriguez is one of the fastest rising comedians today! He is the winner of the 2017 San Francisco Comedy Competition, has performed on Kevin Hart's Hart of the City on Comedy Central and Comedy All-Stars. He was also a Finalist in both the 'Stand Up NBC' and 'Comedy Central Up Next' comedy showcases. This Latino former Marine is a smart, charismatic, and energetic performer. Its no wonder he's a favorite at comedy clubs across the West Coast including the Improv, Laugh’s Unlimited, Tommy T’s, Punchline, The Laugh Factory, and many others. Our Featured comedian will be Sydney Stigerts! With her blonde pompadour and blunt sarcasm, Sydney Stigerts is a staple of the Sacramento comedy scene. She delights in skewering her millennial peers almost as much as she likes mocking her queer community. As a member of the group 1° of Separation: A Funny Look at Depression, she has performed at colleges and comedy clubs from South Dakota to California. The 1° of Separation team was also the subject of the documentary Dying to Laugh. She has opened for Cameron Esposito, Sophie Buddle, Bob the Drag Queen, and Jinkx Monsoon. She has performed in the San Diego Comedy Festival, The Laughed Out Queer Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, the San Francisco Comedy Competition, and won the Best of Fest award at The Big Pine Festival in Phoenix. Our Opening Act will be Chris Ferdinandson! Chris is a fixture in the Bay Area comedy scene and as a member of Comedy IRL he produces shows all over Sonoma County. Chris has performed at SF Punchline, headlined Savage Henry's, released a comedic musical album, opened for Sarah Tiana and Jimmy Tatro, and he has performed at too many shows to count in his over 10 years in the North Bay comedy scene. With his boyish charm and quick wit Chris is a crowd favorite and will not disappoint!

We are joined by other guest performers including Lake County resident Natalie Diaz! Natalia is a fast rising star in the local comedy scene! She recently won a Comedy IRL "Comedy Showdown" and won the "So your friends think you're funny" comedy competition. Be sure to catch her performance!
